Description and Rules: Founded in 1938 in Kuala Lumpur Maylasia, Hash House Harriers, or Hashing, and beer go hand in hand. Basically it involves running and drinking. The motto of the Charlotte hash is "A drinking club with a running problem" In short, hashing involves the consumption of beer and then a run/chase. Typically, the "pack" chases a "hare" who lays a trail of flour for the pack to follow. The hare has also stash "beer stops" along the way where you stop for a beer or two. At the end we all do "down downs" and sing dirty songs. Clubs are found in every major city world wide.
