Ask Real Beer

February 2000

I have been trying to track down a German beer for the longest time. Apparently the local distributors have discontinued this in our area. The name of this beer is Fiedlers Pils Im Stein. Is there a resource of finding out who a distributor is or better yet who is the importer of a particular beer?

From Beer Dave: Fiedler's is brewed in Koblenz, Germany and is imported by Consolidated Distilled Products of Chicago, IL 60623. Im Stein simply refers to the stoneware bottle that the beer is packaged in. If you have any luck locating this brew try a sample of their Bock as well.
