Nebraska homebrewer makes special batches for each child
Mar 30, 2005 - Friends of a Nebraska man must start to get thristy every time they see his wife is pregnant.
Since 1995, Jon Zvolanek of Lincoln has made it a tradition to brew a special batch of beer to mark the birth of one of his children. For his first batch of homebrewed Newborn Ale he made a label with a picture of his daughter, Kristina, that included her picture, her birth measurements and the birth date. He gave the bottle to friends. Since then, he's brewed two more batches of Newborn Ale for daughters Kaitlin and Mariah.
