Beer: Harpoon Alt
Brewer: Mass. Bay Brewing Company, Boston, Massachusetts
Appearance: Deep copper to amber; short, tan head that lasts.
Aroma: Lush, floral hop aroma; malt sweetness and fruity esters poke through as beer warms up.
Taste: Firm, rounded malt body; fruity; caramel sweetness well-buttressed by hops. Finishes slightly hoppy with some lingering malt sweetness.
Summary: Crisp session ale with German roots interpreted by American microbrewing practices. Full of flavor and very drinkable.
