Would you pay $125 for a beer?

NEW YORK BAR CHARGES $125 FOR A BEER
New York Upper East Side bar Treadwell Park offers Oud Beersel’s Bzart Lambiek for US$125 a bottle, which is probably the most expensive bottled brew on pour in the city. Treadwell Park is one of a growing number of bars adding high-priced bottled brews to their ‘reserve list’. Also pioneering the ‘fine beer’ concept is Manhattan’s Pretty Ricky’s, which besides a long draught list, also serves Brouwerij Bosteels Deus for $90 a bottle.
