Hood River Hops Fest
It’s a beer lover’s dream when fresh-hopped brews from more than two-dozen Northwest craft brewers are on tap at the annual Hood River Hops Fest. The event showcases Hood River County’s own microbreweries as well as some of the other best beers in the NW. Local foods, arts and crafts, wine, and a day-long line-up of great music all guarantee fun for the whole family.

Pour The Core: Hard Cider Festival - Philly
Join us for the 1st Annual Pour the Core: A Hard Cider Festival Philadelphia 30+ Local and International Ciders With the renewed interest in eating and drinking local, it is no wonder that ciders are following in the wildly popular footprints of craft beer, and often compared to wine. Today we see that hard ciders and perries (cider made from pears) are enjoying quite a renaissance here is the United States. This event will showcase the finest locally-produced and internationally-sourced ciders – more than 30 in all – being sampled on the picturesque parade grounds of the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The event will feature local favorites, best-selling U.S. produced ciders (including Angry Orchard and Woodchuck), and a variety of imported ciders and perries from England, Ireland, and Sweden. The event will take place outdoors, under tents, nestled into the beautiful fall foliage. The event will take place rain or shine (no refunds). Food (not included in ticket price) will be available for purchase. Parking is free. There will also be music and special seminars about cider, the making of cider, and the enjoyment of cider. The event will help raise funds for selected Charity Partner. A sell-out is expected so buy your tickets early. Once the event sells out, no additional tickets will be available. Tickets include admission to the festival, a souvenir tasting glass and the freedom to enjoy samples from any participating exhibitor. No one under 21 will be admitted. Only those 21+ with valid photo ID will be admitted. No exceptions. This includes designated drivers who must be 21+ to attend. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered. For the safety of everyone at the festival, no infants, children, strollers, or pets will be allowed. Please plan accordingly.

Kingsport Oktoberfest - Tennessee's Oktoberfest
Ranked as a 'Top 50 Festival' by Blue Ridge Outdoor Magazine, the Kingsport Oktoberfest is back for the 3rd year. This is Tennessee's largest Oktoberfest ! The festival will have over 100 different and unique beers to sample throughout the day. Included will be two roaming beer infuser lines ranging from beer infused with Jalapeno to toasted Coconut, and many other tasty infusions. The Beer Booth (photobooth) will be at the festival to provide attendees free pictures of this incredible day. The Kingsport Oktoberfest commissions special cask brews for the festival along with many rare and obscure casks and brews.. In addition, the Kingsport Oktoberfest will have many brews that can’t be found anywhere else. The Kingsport Oktoberfest will have a Black Forest Brew Off. Live Music will be performed throughout the day ranging from traditional German to Americana and Bluegrass. Many activities are held throughout the day including the Artisan Craft Market, the Wiener Dog 'Brat Trot' Race, the College Football Bier Hall, Barrel Racing, Das Kidzone (free kids activities including blow up houses, mini golf, juggling, craft tables and more) and a 5k race. General Admission tickets include 4 hours of tasting, a commemorative tasting glass. Early Bird Tickets receive an official Thirsty Orange Pint Glass for a limited time. A limited number of VIP tickets will be available and include appetizers throughout the day provided by Stir Fry Cafe, an additional 1.5 hours of advance sampling and special brews only for the VIPs. Tickets can be purchased at www.kingsportoktoberfest.com 2012 included over 16,000 participants and 2013 looks forward to build on that success. Proceeds will benefit the Chamber Foundations and Keep Kingsport Beautiful.
