April 6, 2013 - Dallas, Texas, United States
Big Texas Beer Fest The Big Texas Beer Fest 2013 is North Texas’ second-annual 100% craftbeer inspired festival. Last year’s festival featured approximately 80 breweries. We expect this number to grow to 100-120 this year. Last year we also had about 350 beers, and expect that number to grow to 400+. The festival will continue to focus heavily on the emerging North Texas craftbeer scene, and Texas craftbeer as a whole. A number of breweries have promised us exclusive kegs, rare beers, one-offs and special firkins for this event.
The festival will also feature plenty of food trucks and local artisanal food. Free cheese samples will be available at a cheese sampling station, free locally roasted coffee samples, and we are working to secure other food sampling vendors such as free craft soda samples.
A portion of the proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank.

Location: Fair Park Automobile Building Hours: 2-6:30pm Admission: $35 for General Admission, $60 for VIP Organization: Brewvolution, LLC Contact: Nellie & Chad Montgomery Phone: 2146751610 Email: nellie@bigtexasbeerfest.com

April 27, 2013 to April 28, 2013 - Hunter, New York, United States
2013 Tap NY Craft Beer & Food Festival TAP New York started out 15 years ago with a couple hundred beer fanatics and a handful of craft brewers at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, and has grown into the largest craft beer and food event in New York State.
Craft brewing is alive and growing in New York State. The resurgence of craft brewing, spawned in part by the creative brewers at Saranac and Boston Brewing, has led to fuller bodied, flavorful brews featuring rich colors, bold flavors, and imaginative ingredients. New craft breweries are opening every year, and we're both happy and proud to welcome them aboard.
TAP New York has grown over tenfold through the years to now encompass the entire base areas at Hunter Mountain, plus added tent space. Over 85 breweries are invited, representing well over 200 individual beers, offer everything from IPAs and lagers to wiesbiers, doppel and trippel bocks, stouts, ales... pretty much any variety you know of, and probably a few that you don't.
TAP New York is also about food. Each year we offer plenty to eat. Daily cooking demonstrations will also show you some great ideas for your own kitchen.
TAP is also a beer competition. Brewers from across the state enter their finest suds to compete for plaques and trophies. Each year on Saturday at TAP, highly qualified judges choose the best craft brewery in New York State and also the best brewery in the Hudson Valley. On Sunday, the panel of judges decide the best individual beers in both the Hudson Valley and the entire state.
