This 12-degree lager from this "experimental" brewery in Moscow comes in at 4.8 percent alcohol. The Khamovnichesky beer is clear gold in color with a sweet malty flavor. An even flavor balance shifts from malty to hoppy as it finishes on the bitter side. The brown half-liter bottles are freshness dated and notices advise of the contents being pasteurized and best served between 10 and 20 degrees C.
