The bottled Thurn und Taxis Roggen (rye) beer comes in at 4.7% alcohol and shows a dark amber color. This medium-bodied brew offers a smooth, creamy mouthfeel along with a mellow caramel maltiness and dry finish. Not to appear bland, it presents its rye characer through an almost tangy character burried amongst the traditional german lager flavors.
