The 22-ounce bottles from Snake River Brewing Company in Jackson Hole, Wyoming are getting some good regional distribution. A fine head tops the deep amber-colored liquid of the Snake River Lager. The first impression is from the light hoppy aroma, followed shortly by a slightly sweet maltiness, balanced with a subtle hop bitterness. Surprisingly for a lager, a slight fruity character is detectable.
