Wynkoop Beers

Another bottled product from the association between Wynkoop Brewing Company and Broadway Brewing LLC, both of Denver, Colorado, The Light Rail Ale seems to be catching on as an easy-going Pale Ale for the masses. A hazy gold in color, this medium-bodied brew offers a tangy/citrusy hop flavor where hops dominate malt throughout. Clean and refreshing.

A very nice brew found only at the brewpub was the cask-conditioned Quinn's Scottish Ale. A clear dark amber color, it offered a smooth mouthfeel and nice smooth malty flavor. The Double Barrel Wedding Alt, brewed in honor of owner John Hickenlooper, was a reddish dark brown color with a rich malty flavor, creamy mouthfeel and alcoholic finish.
