Review of Pale Rider

The latest product from Celis is a specialty called Pale Rider brewed for Clint Eastwood "by his friends at Celis Brewery, Austin, Texas." A clear dark straw color, the light carbonation is matched with a light hop aroma and malty flavor. The pleasant hop character comes across late in the flavor and into the finish. The bottled product is available in a few states in the US and a portion of the profits are said to be dedicated to charity. The draught version is currently on tap at the brewery.
