Found in the U.S. in a 12-ounce clear green bottle, this beers suffers from the common "skunky" malady caused by exposure to natural or artificial ultraviolet light. The medium-bodied brew pours a dense, dark straw color. An otherwise clean lager beer, the Kotayk Lager Beer offers a mild hop bitterness followed by a slightly crisp hoppy character. The Website reports this as having a 12.5% Original Gravity and 5.2% alcohol by volume. Probably great on tap. Other products include Kotayk Special, Kotayk Light, Erebuni, Castelbeer, Hooligan (beer & vodka!).
