Clear amber in color, the light head of the DeGroen's
Märzen is accompanied by a light malty aroma. This 5.4% brew from
Baltimore Brewing offers a smooth malty flavor with interesting
complexities. The big mouthfeel is countered by a very subtle dryness that
lasts well into the finish. The twist-off bottles show no obvious freshness
dates but the wrap-around label does tell the story of the beer's German
roots.
