Package from CO

Thanks to a package from fret, I had a great weekend of beer enjoyment. Package included:

2 bottles Odell 90 Shilling
1 bottle Old Leghumper
1 bottle SN Celebration
1 can Paulaner Old Munich
1 can Old Chub

All were great! See my tasting notes on the 90 Shilling.

The Old Leghumper was a wonderful beer. The smoked malt gave a wonderful flavor without making think I'm drinking bacon like a rauchbier. The chocolate malt made this one a real pleasure.

This is the first time I've had a Celebration - good stuff.

My thoughts on the Paulaner are here

The Old Chub was a great scottish ale. Wonderful malty flavor without getting too sweet. Worth a try if you can find it.

More than happy to be of service!

(Please excuse the obviously blatant attempt at boosting my post count. What's that?; I'm still 1500 behind chaz? Never mind, then... jeez. )

I got my Colorado care package as well. Popped the Titan IPA yesterday cause I already had a bomber in the fridge, but that was the only one in the box I could get locally. Had the Spring Bock from Fort Collins Brewery tonite with dinner. I'd go thru the motions of describing every little detail of that beer but I'm NOT. I just drink what I like and don't drink the swill.

Well, keep in mind what you like and can't get locally and we'll talk again.

That's a pretty cool ridr for that bottle if it did. I really enjoyed that brew. I'm considering adding some smoked malt to a porter recipe sometime soon.

Well, I had to share the love with a fellow porter lover, and I was down to my last two, and I said what the heck...
