Needed: Private Label Keg

Hi, I'm wondering if there's a brewery out there that will make kegs of beer for me, that I can sell to a tavern, that is labeled with my own brand name?

Anybody have any ideas?

I googled "contract brewing" and was provided with a veritable bounty of links, including this article about one guy's epic saga of contract brewing... (bonus points because it's Minnesota based... )

Schell out of New Ulm MN does a lot of that sort of thing. I think all of the "Restaruant Label" stuff is the same beer though.

actually, Schell's "used" to do a lot of that. when they bought the Grain Belt brand when Minnesota Brewing went under, they stopped almost all of their contract brewing in order to have capacity for Grain Belt. (that's one of the main reasons I can't get Three Floyds here any more...) they're expanding, and I would assume once they increase capacity, they'll be back in the contract business...

In Rochester Mn there are 3 places that have the Schell "put your name here" beer.

John Hardy's BBQ
Whistle Binkies
The Hangar

It tastes and looks about like Killians. Nothing special. I actually find it odd that Whistle Binkies (which has hundreds of beers on hand) would bother with it.

So.....you have a website advertising beers that aren't being produced yet? Or are you looking to expand? You lost me.

Cheers!
