Question damn ups

ok, so i recently sent some beer out...all bottles wrapped in bubble wrap, all space packed with bubble wrap. was quite solid.

the person at ups for some unknown reason decided to shake the box...might have something to do with the 4 fragile stickers on it...she heard the liquid, which led to several questions that i really did not want to answer.

so, my question: is there a better way to ship stuff in swaps so that the liquid can't be heard?

What did you tell them it was?

Maybe you could try to cover the sound by throwing a handful of dried beans or something that would rattle a lot in with the bottles.

The question that springs to mind is: Why would you shake something with a fragile sticker on it?

people are morons...if you put a sign that says wet paint on something then someone has got to touch ......
i bubble wrap everything real good and can never hear the liquid, but i never put fragil on it either. i wrap it so it could be thrown down a flight of steps and survive. some people put a box in a box using peanuts between boxes. you could try that.

i think i'll do that the next time! that or put one empty bottle in there with jumping beans

I use the USPS and have never had a problem. I package tight enough so that nothing rattles when the package is shaken....lots of bubble wrap and packing peanuts...
