Unhappy Beer Club shipping dilemma

I've been looking to join a couple of the Beer clubs where they ship whatever beer or beers a month to you. That would be great,
but I live in Minnesota where apparently none of them will ship to.
My question is there some way around this?
How about having a large P.O. box in Wisconsin, would that work?
I live only a half hour from Wis. so I wouldn't mind making a trip there once a month.
Anyone with some ideas or suggestions please feel free to give me your input.
Or maybe I should stick with my local selections available at various beer distributors.
Whatever, I'm just looking for any excuse to try something new without having to make long road trips or vacations.
Cheers.

beer club

I believe beer clubs to be a mixed bag. The anticipation and seeing what beers arrived is always greater than the actual beer. I belonged to Michael Jacksons Internation beer club and thought that half of the beers were good the other half obviously bad. Of the good, 2 I could of gotten at my local liquor store the others were nice but not worth the price of the club. The bad, well one was very bad the others just not for my palate. Granted I live near Chicago so my selection is probably greater than most I think the beer clubs are fun, especially if you live in an area with a poor selection. To avoid getting a bad beer you might want to try trading on Ratebeer.com but that doesnt solve your shipping issue. Unless the package is disguised so they wont know it is beer The way it works is people have a wish list of beers they want to try, you find someone who wants some of your local beers and offer a trade. This could work for you, even if it is not exactly legal in your state.
