Milwaukee - Harley-Davidson Beer Fest an alternative to Black Friday shopping

http://www.jsonline.com/entertainmen...179801101.html

Sure, you could spend the day after Thanksgiving looking for a parking space and a deal.

Or you could sample local and craft beers and, as a bonus, learn why a Harley-Davidson motorcycle makes the potato-potato sound.

One choice sounds more refreshing.

The Black Friday Beer Fest makes its debut Friday at the Harley-Davidson Museum. At least 17 Wisconsin breweries, from the huge (MillerCoors) to the small (Big Bay Brewing in Shorewood), will be tapping samples from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Harley-Davidson Museum's Garage.

Tickets are $30 each and are available at Motor Bar & Restaurant at the Harley-Davidson Museum, 400 W. Canal St., or online at www.harley-davidson.com
