Both porters are wonderful. I've got reviews done in my old porter thread - do a search, you'll find them.

Which Troegs? I'll be enjoying some fresh Sunshine Pils this evening at the beach. I also have Flying Fish Farmhouse on tap there.

Last night was Victory Hop Devil from a growler.

oh too cool

I purchased a troegs sample 12 pack and was refering to the rugged trail. although my favorites are the pale ale and the hopback amber. I wish they would have included their oatmeal stout in the sampler instead of the wheat beer.

Sounds like a good time at the beach, enjoy your hop devil, it's my favorite from victory.

Tonite its a Three Floyds Gumballhead bomber and a half liter of Stiegel Wiesen Gold.

As a side note, my family and I are traveling to the Tampa area tomorrow and would hope to find some of the great beers that are brewed in the eastern states. Wish me luck.

What do you think of the Wells. I had that brew one evening at GBBF. I'd not want to drink too much of it.

I've had a Widmer '07 Pale Ale and a Big Sky IPA.

an interesting treat:
kulmbacher mönchshof kellerbier

an unfiltered lager!
there´s even a note on the label that tells you to lightly shake the bottle before finishing pouring! just like a wheatbier!

Brooklyn Summer Ale.

I think I saw wortchillergoal praising this in another thread and I have to agree. It is a really interesting beer that's different from many of the other Summer offerings I've had this year.

Would you guys recommend this in sixtel? I've not had it this summer. But I'm not sure what goes on the old kegerator next.
