Young's Special London Ale. Drinking it out of one of my new glasses brought back from Disney World(Rose & Crown Pub, United Kingdom World Showcase, EPCOT).

I finished a pint of Rogue Monk Madness Ale while I went back and read this whole damn thread.

I was really bored because my wife is hogging the tv tonight. In fact, I bet she is asleep on the couch right now.

they have all the usual oktos (spaten, paulaner,löwenbräu...), interested in seeing if they taste differently than what´s bottled by these companies.......

See this BLOG by Stonch for some insight: http://stonch.blogspot.com/2007/10/n...-just-for.html

Chazwicke, the Victory Festbier is very good in bottles.
Last night I had a 2002 Aventinus Weizenbock. Excellent. I just wish I bought more than one of them.

TETO.
Gone through a sixer and feel it lacks something this year.

Lots of festbiers I've had have been "drinkable" this year, but nothing much more than that. While there's nothing wrong with drinkability, the only Ofest to really impress so far has been Berkshire Brewing.

I don't know what TETO means. As for the Berkshire Octoberfest, it's always good, but this year it seemed to take a step back from previous years.

To each their own.

Berkshire, as a brand, is usually pretty solid across the board.
Their lagers are usually quite good (Maibock, Ofest).
And I think their Ofest raised up a notch this year.
See? TETO.

You know, it's funny, right before I read this post, I figured out what TETO meant. I'm a little slow today.
