Last night, sampled a friends hb's including
a very nice Belgian Dubbel and capped the
night off with Pliny the Elder IIPA.

I had this one at thier annapolis pub from a keg a while ago
so tonight when I saw this at the LBS I went for it

It's an Octo lager for style but I prefer the draft version over the bottled beers........ for some reason the bottles taste flat. I'll enjoy it none the less

Too sweet? No, I didn't think so. I did get
the wood flavor which I thought was kind
of interesting. I kinda like their take on a
Brown Ale though it is pretty big. Most of
their beers are hit or miss with me, mostly
miss. 60 Min. IPA is delish.
