Just finished a Presque Isle Pilsner by the Erie Brewing Co. I must say, a decent beer.

Boy. . .that didn't take long. . . I'm now drinking a Smithwicks ale. . .

Even though it's 9:00 am on a sunday morning, by my work schedule this is friday evening, so I have no reservations about downing a few. . .

Todays lawnmower beer was a Franziskaner and the midafternoon treat while watching the Cubs loose, SN IPA. Both teriffic.

And for those of you who really don't like beer, there's AB, Coors and MillerSAB products.

Had a Flying Dog In Heat Wheat with lunch @ GF's house. GF had a Kona Wailua Wheat. It's a pretty darned cool girl that is willing to discuss the pros and cons of a vigorous pour!

Brooklyn Summer Ale which has to be the best tasting session beer I have ever poured into my glass.

Tonight it is St. Bernardus Abt 12. It has been in my fridge for a couple months and I couldn't stand it any more. Had to bust it open.

A Guinness foreign extra stout that I bought at their "storehouse" brewing and advertising museum/bar/gift shop/tourist trap in Dublin and stashed in my luggage back to Chicago.
