Merry Christmas everyone, may your day be blessed with great family, food and of course beer-but not necessarily in that order

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a great day! Pretty sure I've just eaten my weight in steak.

My wife's French farm upbringing got the best of us again today-we cooked for 40 but only the 6 people we invited showed up.

The prime rib and creamed spinach were excellent, as was the wild rice, and the smoked turkey. But we also cooked a ham, potatoes, braised Belgian endives, and my daughter cooked a brussel sprout/carrot casserole. I've been trying to get her to simplify her menus but once again her fear of not having enough food won the mental battle.
