I'm blanking out big time on that device used within a mash tun that cuts the flow of the sparge water off if it starts going to low. There may be a few different types, but I've been googling key words for about 15 minutes now and coming up with everything but what I'm looking for.
Can anybody help me out? I believe it has a ball at the end that resides in the water and raises and lowers with the level of the sparge water, and cuts off or releases the flow accordingly. I've seen them in catalogs before.

It’s lonesome away from your girl and all,
By the campfire at night where the wild coyotes call,
But there’s nothing so lonesome so morbid or drear,
Than to stand at the bar of a pub with no beer.
