Temp. Controller for Chest Freezer

Hey -I just came across a free chest freezer (gotta love department surplus). I would love to try and use it for lagering.
I'm looking for a used temp controller, anything cheap -new ones are just too expansive. Or, can anyone point me in the right direction for some alternatives instead of buying one at the LHBS?
Thanks!

You should be able to find analog Johnson controlers for under 60$.

Make it into a kegerator...it is a pain in the a$$ to fish a carboy out of a chest freezer.
