The Glut Life made Fried Xmas Tree ornaments by dipping Little Debbie Christmas Tree Snack Cakes in a batter enhanced with Shiner Holiday Cheer beer. They then threw them in the deep fryer, decorated them, and found a sweet place on the Christmas tree for them to hang.
This is where I get excited and start feeling the presence of the Holy Ghost! Slowly lower the beer-battered holiday ornament in the hot oil (a sentence I would have thought I would NEVER say). Oh man, the smell of this frying brought me back to State Fair days, passing by the Funnel cake stands…
