Syracuse Beer Week, Garrett is coming

The week of Nov1-7 is Syracuse Beer Week. Different venues offer tastings, pairings, and brewery tours to name a few. Garrett Oliver is opening the week at the Gala kick off. He is then doing a beer, cheese, and chocolate pairing at Empire Brewing. I am looking f0rward to that. I have included a link for the calendar of events.

Well I had a great time at the tasting event at Empire with Garrett hosting. I enjoyed talking with him. He spoke about the column for my company's mag and beer in general.

One of the beers being tasted at the event was called Manhattan Project. It was a rye beer. If you smelled it and tasted it blind folded, you would swear you had a Manhattan in your hand and not a beer.

There are some more tastings this week, I am trying to make more but fatherhood demands are keeping me happily busy.
