Yeah, it's warmth in the back of my throat. There's something else in there that I don't like, maybe a plum flavor or something. I'll try and put my finger on it next time I get brave enough to drink another one. I'm not much of a judge or describer of what I'm tasting, but I'll try.

I drank another one last night and here's what I came up with. I definitely don't care to taste the alcohol. Call me weird, but I really don't like the taste of alcohol. I don't like liquor for the most part. I can feel the heat in my throat and taste it. There seems to be a raisin flavor to it. Kinda like the aftertaste after eating a box of raisins. Also there's not much of a head at all. Add in a twang that I can't put my finger on and BAM... I don't like it. I know, I know...

It was pretty interesting stuff. I might buy it to pour around at a tasting or a party or something, but an ounce or two is about all I would want at any given serving. Leathery is a pretty good descriptor.
