Gallo cerveza

For the past few months I've been drinking a beer called Gallo(means rooster in English) that's made in Guatemala. I find it quite good and reasonably priced-less than $3 a six pack. I live in Mexico and this beer is just as good as Corona, DosEquis, Sol and costs about $1.50 less per six. Has anyone else heard of it or tried it?

BeerAdvocate seems to indicate that Gallo and Famosa (which I've seen in the states) are one in the same. Different name for export? Have yet to pick any up. Maybe I'll grab a single next time I see it. Maybe...

Not too good of a review on BA, but I’ll try anything.

I had a Peroni last night. It wasn’t bad but I had to wash her down with a Karl Strauss, which wasn’t too bad either. :)
