Well barley ben, i think the answers to both of your questions are fairly obvious. i dont register because of the apparent lack of interest in this site by the people who run it themselves. and i keep checking in to see how my local bar fared. the real issue here is that our friends at beertravelers.com have now gone three weeks without mentioning anything new about this contest, other than promoting two of it's supposed 100's of competitors. now you can insult me personally if you like, i really dont care, but i challenge you to give me one solid reason why we haven't heard the results yet, or why i should be interested in the challenge next year?
