No, but Miller might:
From The Straight Dope (http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_356b.html)
you may be interested to know that Miller Lite contains propylene glycol alginate, water, barley malt, corn syrup, chemically modified hop extracts, yeast, amyloglucosidase, carbon dioxide, papain enzyme, liquid sugar, potassium metabisulfite, and Emka-malt, whatever that is. I would venture to say that light beers as a class tend to have more additives than others, simply because they'd be totally flat and tasteless otherwise.
Whatever you do, don't go here (http://www.straightdope.com/columns/) and search for Beer.

This is old and the writer seems to have no clue what these substances are. If I can dig up the old thread that dealt with this in the archives, someone noted that many of these are rather innoculous. Don't believe everything you read.
Cheers!

Well, it certainly tastes like they use chicken (f)hearts in their brew. Heh, and here we thought it was CO2.

Never tasted them. You seem to be experienced, though. Odd that.
Cheers!

Some beer recipe books give the ingredients for "Cock Ale" which is supposed to have been popular in England in the 19th century.
It was made in the normal way except, once the fermentation was well established, bits of chicken were immersed into the wort in a muslin bag.
According to the book I read, the brew is very full-bodied and tasty - though I confess I've never tried to brew it.

You guys should be ashamed of yourselfeves for slamming Bud. It is a geat beer, save for Bud Light, and very popular.
if you going to poke at a brewer, you ought make fun of Sam Adams for having to hire other pepole to make his beer. Didn't you see that news show thing a few years back.

Bud is popular, high volume selling, available, reasonably priced, ubiquitous, and wet but great? I don't think so.
I don't think you'll find that many beating the drum for Sam here, though I suppose it does have it's fans. Still I'd pay for a Sam Adams before I'd ever drink a free Bud. BTW Bud is brewed in submarine sized tanks all over the US, is that any better than Sam's contract brew scenario?

Popular yes, but there's a lot or rubbish about everywhere.
By what criteria do you judge it as "a great beer"?
Incidentally, did everyone see that A-B profits feel massively last year? Maybe the world is beginning to wake up and start to like the taste of beer.

Good lord! Contract brewing is more commonplace than you think. Many fine brews (Brooklyn Brewing, Thomas Hooker, Southampton, etc.) are brewed "by others" outside of a brewery's main facility. In many cases, the brewer will oversee the brewing of his/her beer at the other facility. Real estate and brewing equipment isn't cheap and sometimes contract brewing is the way to go. It is not an evil term.
Don't believe everything you see on the TV news.

If this is a comment about the A-B profits story, I can tell you that I read this in The Times (the London one, not the New York version) and I find its reporting pretty reliable.

Nope, no feelings of guilt. Pride, yes. Guilt, no.

Big Head, Perhaps you might enjoy Lone Star Beer. Here is a thread about it:

It wasn't. I'm aware of A-B's loss of market share and profits last year.
I quoted BigHead in my post for reference.

Well, yeah. If you lived on a farm that had many chickens then you would unfortunately be very familiar with the chicken fart. Chickens smell pretty bad…
BidHead, I didn’t mean to upset you there. I admire one who sticks to his guns in the midst of adversity. You should drink what you like to drink. Even if it’s a Bud. :D

Brought to you by the makers of Pecker's Chicken-Heart Hefeweissen, this lighter version of their homebrew is surely a feather in the cap to the brewery as masses have flocked to sample the new brew.
Even critics are crowing: It's a taste that can't be beak! ...finally a chicken beer I don't have to sift through my teeth!
That's right no flossing required!
Feeling cooped up? Tired of being hen-pecked all day? Beat that fowl mood and choke a Chicken down today!
(caution may cause excessive cockiness)
