seems as though everyone is growing hops,why don't i! well when is the best time to plant the rizome and do different hops propogate differently? do they all grow to approximately 25' high and can they be trained to a latice?do different strains need different soils and nutrients?i will be going to worms way tomorrow so i will get some advice from them as well.thank you.

I planted mine in late march, early april, and they grew fine.

It depends on what planting zone you are in. I planted mine last year in April and am zoned for mid May as the last frost date. There's a good book called the Homebrewer's Garden that is very helpful for planting hops and all kinds of other ingredients used in brewing.
