Looking to find a clone for Goose Island's IPA. The ABV is 5.9%, SRM 10 and IBU's are 58. Can't put a finger on the hops. Great IPA for anyone loving a refreshing BIG hop bite. Thanks.....

their website wasn't much help, other than on their Imperial IPA they mention Tettnanger, Simcoe and Cascade... I haven't had their IPA (i'm not a huge IPA fan anyways...) in quite a while so I don't remember how it was hopped...
maybe one of the Chitown regulars can help out with their impressions...
and are you looking for extract or all grain?

I went to their website also and did see the hops for the Imperial. The IPA does have a fruitness to it so I am leaning towards cascades. But there is another hop that I can't place. As far as the recipe goes, I would prefer all-grain.

Ok, I know I am starting to answer my own questions but I found one and wanted some input mostly on the hop bill.
10 lbs Pale malt (2-row)
.75 lb Wheat malt
.75 lb Munich malt
.75lb Crystal 60L
Mashed @ 154 deg for 60 min
1.3 oz Centennial pellet 10.5% 60 min
1.35 oz Fuggle pellet 5% 30 min
.75oz Fuggle pellet 15 min
.25oz Cascade pellet 15 min
I have never used Centennial but I think 1 oz would be enough as would 1 oz of Fuggles for the 30 min.
Promash put the IBUs's at 83.2 per recipe which is out of the ballpark for this clone. Knocking back each to 1 oz would move it to 65 IBU's. Getting there.... Does anyone have any thoughts?
