All -- trying to hook up my second keg in a kegerator, but beer is oozing out of the top of the keg tapper, where the wingnut screws onto the tapper to attach the beer line. (Sorry if I am using wrong terminology or being TOO specific. I'm still learning.) It's flowing pretty fast, almost like a little volcano.

I've tried everything I can think of and several suggestions found in forums like these. Any ideas? There's no washer, either rubber or metal, on the tapper or in the wingnut. Should there be?

It's a standard American "D" tap, with a keg of Shiner Bock (it's a TX beer). Please help!

Yes, there should be a large rubber washer where the beer line connects to the sankey tap.

That did it. Somehow when I disconnected from the empty keg or cleaned the system, that washer got lost. (And don't I feel dumb that it was so simple.) Thanks much.
