I've recently returned from an extended stay in England where I fell madly in love with the hand-pulled style of beer (or ale or bitter, whichever is the proper terminology).
Is there anywhere in the DC area where I can get a hand-pulled ale??
Thanks.

Welcome aboard.
You're going to find yourself in very good company here. There a quite a few of us who favor Real Ale, or cask ale if you prefer.
Check out this post:

and do a search for "Real Ale" "Cask Night" etc. in this section and you'll find plenty of related posts.
I'll report on the Reef's next cask soon. Remember you don't necessarily need an actually handpull to get the same beer, though it is nice. Matter of fact most establishments here do the (very old style) gravity pour. The converse can sometimes be true, just because there's a handpull doesn't mean the ale is real.
