I will be in and out of Houston, mainly the Sugarland area, several times this year. Any suggestions for a huge beer snob.

Any Spec's (a liquor store) will be good. Nice selection of imports and domestics. As far as bars go....let me dust the hops off my brian and think. The Stag's Head Pub was nice when I was there about a year or two ago. There is the Gingerman which is a great place, Two Rows brewery is Ok. There is a neat looking British pub near the Galleria, I think called the Hamilton Arms, or the Hampton Arms....something "Arms" which I have been meaning to try. I've been to several more, but I have CRS. Cant remember shite. If I think of some I'll let you know. Bad news is, I dont think any of these are near Sugarland.

Was down in Houston this week, and after some thought...its the Richmond Arms. Richmond runs near the Galleria. Still havent checked it out though, sad, but I had no time for some boozing this trip. :(

Ahh, just remembered another one. I've had some real good times here, drank some good Fullers ales and DogFishHead:

Wilson,

Thanks for your input. I head to Houston on the 27th with plans on staying downtown. I will hit as many as possible...with out missing the real reason I am in Houston. I will let you know which ones I made it to.
