A thread from last week made me curious, what form followed by brand of yeast do you prefer and why?
Your choices are:
1. Dry yeast.
2. Liquid yeast, and if so:
3. Wyeast.
4. White Labs.
I'll go first. I used Wyeast for ages but recently switched back to dry becuase I have had very good results with the SAF brand. When I do use liquid, however, I prefer Wyeast's packaging. I don't like that the WL tubes don't stand easily and therefore roll around and sometimes when I crack the seal over-pressurized yeast shoots out and can make a messor just cause a loss of precous yeast.
