Bad Elf from Ridgeway

I had Ridgeways Seriously Bad Elf. It was a good 2x IPA. Though many of the Imperial IPA's from the USA are better and available year round. Had a great label and is a gift I wouldn't turn down.

Really a double-IPA? I didn't know any English brewers had branched out into that style, given that the choice of ordinary IPAs still leaves a lot to be desired. Personally, I'd welcome some of the bolder US beers over here.

Seriously Bad Elf was probably my favorite of the English Winter Ales as it spoke to the hophead in me... Perhaps the brewer is targeting the American palate for DIPAs... Great beer...
