I want to start an IPA recipe this week. I like the Dogfish Head 60 minute. If anybody has a clone for the 60 or 90 minute in extract, I would be eternally grateful.

I will. My LHBS opens in about an hour, and I plan to be there shortly after that to go shopping. I have $100 worth of gift certificates burning a hole in my pocket.

That's one hell of a hop schedule.

Yeah, it'll be a kicker.

Ok, it's in the primary.

First off, Wild, I wanted to say thanks again for the recipe. On that note...I had to change a few things around for various reasons. First, my LHBS was waiting on a shipment of hops, and they had no clue when it would be coming in. They were, however, able to make some suggestions on alternative hops. Two, I lost a 1oz package of hop pellets, and really had to improvise. I searched all over my house for those hops and could not find them anywhere. I had everything ready to go, and I really didn't feel like resanitizing everything again the next day.

Also, after I transfered the wort over to my primary, I noticed a scorch spot a little bit smaller than a dime. Does anybody know how much this is likely to effect the final product?

Well if the alphas were close you may not notice the difference as much. And a scortch spot the size of a dime shouldn't be any problem for anyone. That is for a brewer like myself. Good luck on finding the hops.

Racked to secondary today.

The s.g. was about 1.023 from 1.070. I did have one little problem though. There was not enough wort to fill my carboy. There is about 1/3 of a gallon of airspace that is not being used. Should I leave it as it is, add some water to it, or doing something else. Does anybody have any ideas?

leave it alone - it fine.
The move to secondary knocked some co2 out of solution and it made a little blanket over you beer. As long as you didn't slosh it around too much, it should say pretty much undisturbed,
