Will the Johnson Control work with any freezer, New or Old?

It should. It has a three prong plug like this: '.' that has a relay turning it on and off. As long as your freezer uses regular 108-120vac household power, it should work fine.

Nope, just plug it into the controller and turn it as cold as it will go.
