I just checked my bottles of IPA and they all seem to have an oily/soapy film on top of them. I dry hopped it with a bunch of cascade and some oak chips that I had soaked in bourbon. I popped one open and it had a nice head, smelled ok and didn't seem to have any sour flavor from an infection. I seem to remember reading that nothing bad for you can grow in beer, so I was thinking about just keeping it. Any thoughts? Could the hops/oak chips contribute the film or is most likely infected?

if it tastes good and smells good then it is not infected. You probably just have some hop oils or perhaps some oils from the oak. If you like it dont dump it.
