I am in Louisville for a conference, and I told the concierge that I wanted to go somewhere with "good beer." He sent me walking about a mile to "Tumbleweed." That didn't sound right to me (southwestern food). So, I found The Pub in one of their brochures and went there instead. What a find! They had more UK beers on tap than I think I have ever seen. I had a McEwin's IPA, from Scotland, which was outstanding. It had a distinctly bourbon taste to it. Further, their shephard's pie was wonderful, and their bourbon bread pudding was superb.

Aren't you Louisvillians lucky?
