Is starsan and onestep the same .

I have some onestep and it contains percarbonates.
Is starsan the same?

Will 1 gal made up of onestep swished around all over in a 5gal glass carboy do it or do you need 5 gallons inthere and let it sit?

In otherwords will brief contact do it as bleach will at 5-10ppm?

Star-San and One Step are two entirely different things...

you can swirl it around for it's contact time, so you don't have to make 5 gallons of it...

don't buy any more One Step. get some PBW for cleaning and Star-San for sanitizing. you will not regret this decision...
