Pizza & Beer.

I usually don't drink beer while eating food, unless it's pizza. I think the flavors go well together...but normally with other foods I would rather savor the flavors separately. Wonder what it is about pizza?

I had a spicy burger and onion rings with an SNPA the other day and the flavors melded perfectly.

Look into Garrett Oliver's book on beer and food, they can highlight each other as well as wine and food - sometimes better.
