I thought this might be a useful thread.

The idea is that everyone can post a link to 1 or 2 webpages that contain a particulary well written or illustrated aspect of homebrewing.

After a while, this thread should become an excellent source for on-line information.

When you post your link please include the URL and a good description of the contents. Things to put in your description would be the topic (e.g., yeast, kegging, overview-extract brewing, overview-mashing, etc....) and author. Also, indicate if there are links embedded within the page to related topics.

Here is mine...I stumbled across this site this morning.

Link: http://www.leeners.com/kegginghow2.html
Description: HOW TO KEG; Priming vs. Forcing; Using kegs during fermentation.
Author: Kirk R. Fleming; John Palmer

Related links included? YES - caring and cleaning of kegs.

Well, here is my useful URL which I just found yesterday. It is a database of a bunch of "recipes" of European beers. I have recipes in quotes as many times it gives you the base malt bill, OG, and hops used, so you still have to do a little bit of calculating to get close, however it is a huge help in that it gets you that much closer to being able to make the beers you like.

To view, click the Adobe ebook link near the bottom, and it will take you to a book store. Click the browse before you buy link and you can look through the ENTIRE book without having to spend a dime!

Hopefully you can all find some use in this!

FYI Found a new source for ingredients. 55 lb. bag of pils for $25. www.bulkhomebrew.com
I ordered a pallet to split with some club members. Oh, cheap hops by the pound as well.
