I just downloaded the trial version. It is about 5.2MB, didn't take very long to download, even at 28Kbps. I was overwhelmed by the complexity of it, though. I was not even able to figure out where to "start". What do you do with it?

I like the program especially when creating my own recipes. It gives me the guidelines and I am able to create from there. I especially like how it breaks down malts by percentages and estimates og. It is well worth the price. I only have the trial version right now and will be moving up for the full shortly!
I use broadband so I could not tell you the download rates. I think it may say something on the site though.

I've had ProMash for my last three batches. It's very useful, especially with regard to recipe formulation and brewing session recording.
I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been using promash for several years now.... I used the free version for quite some time. It is pretty good, but you can only save 3 times then it will not let you use it anymore. I upgraded and i really love it..... works well at any batch size. Toney just play with the thing man it is pretty cool when you get in there. I really like the strike temp feature. Its pretty well on. I downloaded on a 56k modem and it took about 15 mins....... well worth the investment.....
Thanks to all! I just ordered it myself! p.d.
