Rogue Brutal Bitter + Pizza = Excellent.
That is all.

Tastes great with a sweet piece of meat as well, like a nice tenderloin. The bitterness contrasts so nicely with the meats sweetness.

here's a ? for this thread, going to dinner tomorrow and having vegtaterian chili, and I'm nominated for beer, since the keg is empty now I'm gonna go hit the paint store and grab a couple of 6's and recomendations?

You can go a few ways with chili (even veggie); a nice Pale Ale or IPA whose hops will compliment the chili's spiciness, maybe an Okto for this time of year - its robust flavor will match a thick chili, maybe even a Porter for more robust pairing.
I tend toward an Okto style - maybe even Anchor Steam, or a clean Munich Helles to wash down a hardy chili.

Is it Hard Times Veggie Chili? I like Hard Times much but not that particular chili.

I'm a big fan of hard times chili and usually enjoy the variety of beers they have on tap, having it in walking distance of home is nice in the winter when you get that craving. tonights is gonna be home made by/for vegatarians, I ended up grabbing a 6 of Snow goose stout and SN Celebration figured that would be a good balance of flavors for everyone.

For a good meaty chili, especially if it is meat chunks instead of ground, I like a smoked porter.

I had an SNPA with my wife's (vewry spicy) chili and it was a perfect match.
