So, last monday I put my brew into the primary fermenter, and at midweek, I had to evacuate due to rita, but i only lost power for an hour or so. should it be ok to go ahead and put it in the 2nd fermenter, or has it gone bad?

It takes a lot more than an hour to heat up that much liquid. You're fine.
What kind of beer is it?

Also, how many batches have you made?

It's an attempted Shiner clone....hopefully.

This is my 3rd, the first was pretty good for not being able to control the temperature closely. Now I have a mini fridge set at 68 degrees, and my 2nd batch is bottled and will be ready next week. yummy...

Like Hogie said - an hour at room temp would have had a negligible affect on the temp. It'll be fine.

Oh... in that case I'm afraid it went bad before it even hit the primary.

Oh yeah I didn't notice he had it in a fridge. The temp increase would be practically zero.
