Just got my Summit Kegerator yesterday and a new tank of Co2. I am getting condensation on the cold plate and then it's dripping to the floor. Not a lot, but some. Also, how tight does the connection between the regulator and the co2 tank have to be? I tightened it by hand and it seems fine. But am I supposed to use a wrench and get it as tight as possible? I am using a digital thermometer inside a glass of water. It the type with the wire connecting the main unit to a metal rod which goes in the water. So, the kegerator door is shut with the wire going through. I don't feel any cold air leaking where the wire comes throught the door, but I am concerned that it is still not good to have this slight opening.

as long as you keep the door shut, condensation should be minimized. you'll get more when you first crank it up, since there's more warm air to cool...

get a wrench and tighten it. that's a high pressure area right there, I'd hate for you to find you're wrong by having an empty tank and being unable to pour a beer...

are you planning on keeping the thermometer in there long term, or just until you get the kegerator where you want it to be? I wouldn't worry too much about it...

With that thermometer, I will just use it until it seems the tempurature has leveled. But I would like to find something I can just keep in there.
